Happy 18th Birthday, Heather!

This past Friday {May 11} was my little sister's 18th birthday! I only recently posted her senior pictures, but one's 18th birthday is a pretty big milestone. And milestones call for photos, right??

After a super quick little session in our Mimi's backyard, we headed off to meet a couple of Heather's friends for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. It's kind of become our birthday dinner go-to, and I can't say I'm too upset about it!

We decided it would be really fun to get all dressed up in pretty party dresses. Everyone looked lovely! A lot of people thought we were headed to Prom. It gave me a laugh because although Prom was just last weekend for these ladies, it was four years ago for me!!

So, there we have it! My baby sister is officially an adult! Though we honestly didn't always get along growing up, we've become pretty great friends and I wouldn't trade that for the world.

You may remember the contest I had last month giving away a Family Photo Session... Well, this super cute family won that contest! We got together at Battery Park Marina in Sandusky this past Saturday and had a great time with their session!

Little Sadie kept us moving pretty quickly through the session, and she was so adorable! We even got to take a little time for playing on the playground. It was a pretty great way to end the day, in my opinion! I hope you guys had as much fun as I did!

FHS Prom 2012

I had the pleasure of photographing my sister and some of her friends before Prom on Saturday. I feel like my own Prom was just yesterday! Anyways, I had a ton of fun photographing this awesome group! It was kind of fun, also, that I did three of the girls' Senior Portraits this year, including my sister. So, they already knew what to expect of me while I was taking pictures! Haha.

Everyone looked so beautiful! I love how Britany and Heather had the same dress, but styled it differently with different hair, shoes, and jewelry to make it unique to each of them!

All the girls had really cute shoes! I wanted to make sure we got a shot to show them off.

We had to get a couple of photos with their sunglasses and, of course, with the cool car!

I already heard from my sister that she had an awesome night at Prom and After Prom! I hope everyone else did, too.
